Babar Azam, the skipper of Pakistan, has faced so much criticism after they lost a match against India in the ICC Cricket World Cup match on Saturday.
The team only lost one big game, which became the reason to point out Babar Azam as a poor skipper and his poor captaincy in the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023. Shoaib Malik, the most popular cricketer on the Pakistan team, has suggested Babar Azam step down from the captaincy and concentrate only on batting for Pakistan.
The advice of Malik came forward after Pakistan lost the match against arch rivals in the league segmentations of the ODI World Cup on October 14. This is not a concern of Shoaib, but many great Pakistani superstar cricketers, including fans, think that this player should merely focus on his game instead of leading the team.
Under Babar’s leadership, the team won two matches, but unfortunately, their loss against Rohit Sharma & Co. has denied his form of leading the team in the biggest tournament. Previously, the former Pakistani leader Moin Khan also claimed that Babar was a little scared due to the fact that the Men in Green have not performed with perfection, and due to this reason, they lost to India.
