Bangladesh’s fast bowling coach, Allan Donald, is expected to step down following the team’s last November 11 match against Australia.
The renowned pace bowler informed his subordinates of his decision on Thursday during a team meeting in Pune.
“Yes, during the team meeting on Thursday. He told us that he would not be continuing with us after this World Cup,” the official stated.

The T20 World Cup was Donald’s primary goal when he took over in March 2022. This outcome signals the conclusion of a brief but significant term. The BCB decided to extend his contract through the current ICC World Cup due to the team’s fast bowling stock making remarkable strides.
On November 8, BCB declared that they would question Donald about his attack on captain Shakib al-Hasan, who had appealed for Angelo Mathews’ “timed-out” expulsion during their November 6 match against Sri Lanka.
Donald seemed unfazed. When his attention was called to this matter. “I don’t mind at all if they (BCB) ask for clarification. Regarding myself, the explanation was reported in the media today,” Donald said, expressing his disinterest in continuing to play for the Bangladesh national cricket team following the conclusion of the current ICC World Cup.
