IND vs. AFG 3rd T20I Match Prediction:
On Wednesday, January 17, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the IND vs. AFG 3rd match will play the final Twenty20 International of their three-match series. As they prepare for their final T20I match before the crucial T20 World Cup 2024, the Men in Blue will be seeking to complete a 3–0 rout of the visitors.
India took an unbeatable 2–0 lead in the second Twenty20 International match against Afghanistan on Sunday, January 14, after demonstrating their superiority over the Afghans once again with a six-wicket victory. Shivam Dube stole the show when he amassed back-to-back undefeated half-centuries for India while chasing the total in both games.
Virat Kohli made his T20I comeback for India in the preceding match, his first since the T20 World Cup 2022 concluded. Yashasvi Jaiswal took Shubman Gill’s position, while Tilak Varma made way for Kohli. India’s actions proved advantageous, as Jaiswal and Kohli both produced outstanding innings.
Gulbadin Naib’s 57 (35) and some respectable efforts from the lower middle-order hitters helped Afghanistan score 172 runs in their allotted 20 overs. After captain Rohit Sharma’s dismissal gave the pursuit an early blow, Jaiswal and Kohli put up a 57-run partnership for the second wicket as the former grabbed control.
Then, Jaiswal and Dube’s 92-run third-wicket partnership moved India one wicket closer to victory. Dube scored 63 in 32 deliveries to stay undefeated, while Jaiswal was removed after scoring 68 off 34 deliveries. In the upcoming match, the visitors will be aiming to win the format for the first time ever against India, while the Men in Blue will be attempting to put on a similar show.

IND vs. AFG Match Pitch Report:
The surface of Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is perfect for batting. At this stadium, T20 matches sometimes see 200+ totals as the batsmen take full advantage of the small boundaries. Compared to pacers, spinners receive less support here, but a high-scoring contest is still likely.
