Theekshana replaces injured Madushanka as Sri Lanka bat in final ODI

Toss: Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat vs Bangladesh

In the third ODI in Chattogram, Sri Lanka captain Kusal Mendis chose to bat against Bangladesh after winning his third consecutive toss.

For the last game, Bangladesh changed their lineup three times, substituting Anamul Haque, Rishad Hossain, and Mustafizur Rahman for Litton Das, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Taijul Islam. Due to a hamstring injury, Tanzim is not playing; hence, Litton and Taijul are not starting.

Maheesh Theekshana replaced fast bowler Dilshan Madushanka, who would miss the entirety of the Bangladesh tour and the first few games of the 2024 IPL, as Sri Lanka made one forced alteration to their lineup. Theekshana’s return to the starting lineup gives the Sri Lankan bowling assault a more spin-oriented appearance.

This game begins the series knotted at one. Before Sri Lanka rallied for a three-wicket victory in the second match, Bangladesh won the first one by six wickets. In the two prior day-night matches, the pursuing team benefited greatly from the dew. Since the third game is a day game, Dew is probably not going to be involved.
